Can anyone register to Taobao/1688 or only chinese could?

It’s possible to find accounts, but I’d be careful with Taobao/1688 accounts bundled with Alipay and Wangwang. Ownership and verification issues can become a headache later—better to make sure everything can be transferred and verified properly.

You don’t have to be Chinese to register.
The process can just be a bit different for international users.
