Hi guys,

I noticed something odd with one of my PPC campaigns. The network is showing around 500 clicks, but my tracking tool is showing muchh less traffic. I know the numbers may not match exactly, but this diffrence seems quite big.
I am trying to figure out where the missing clicks are going. has anyone else seen a gap like this between the ad network and their tracking?

true. tracking gaps this big mean bots or ad network click fraud before the script even loads.
try filtering out the junk traffic and also do check your tracker settings.

A small gap is normal, but a big one usually means redirects, blocked tracking scripts, bots, or tracking setup issues. I’d compare server logs with both platforms first.

Just check your tracking setup first if small differences are normal but a big gap can come from tracking issues or redirects or reporting delays.

Check if both platforms count clicks the same way. One may count every click while the tracker only counts visits that actually load the page.

Check the date and time settings in both tools first. Sometimes that alone can make the numbers look very different.

Some clicks might be invalid or fraudulent, which ad networks sometimes filter out or do not count in their reports but your tracking tool might still record.

Sometimes the page itself is the problem. If it loads slowly for some users, those clicks may never show up in the tracker.

Yes. It’s not always bad to bounce if the page provides a response fast enough. I would check for conversions and engagement first.

check if your tracker has any bot or traffic filters enabled that could be removing part of the visits.
