What’s One SEO Strategy Everyone Says Is Dead but Still Works?

I’ve seen a lot of SEO strategies being called “Dead” lately, But some still seem to work in the right situation.

I’m curious to hear from people who are actually testing things what SEO strategy are you still using that others say is dead?

imo parasite SEO is still dismissed. However it will performs efficiently if the page and the host meet the user’s intent. of course it would not be that plug and play as before.

anchor texts that matches the key word exactly were termed dead yet they were still prove effective when there was relevance in the context. It was the clear cut repetitive pattern that seems to be the issue here imo.

The niche editing technique as well as contextual link-building is far from being outdated in the case of a genuinely relevant and editorially appropriate placement.

Internal linking is another. The reason why many tend to forget about it is that it are not as eyes catching as backlinks however gud planning may help move your pages a long way.

Exact match domains were also considered dead but an exact match with the appropriate subject matters could certainly make things easier. However I would not bank my hopes on the name the site still has to build up its rankings.

old school internal linking is labeled dead far too many times. in my opinion making sures that orphaned pages were not in existence anymore and relevance was passed from strong pages will does the trick just fine.
