Has anyone tried buying a large YouTube channel and then uploading their own videos on it? I’m curious how it actually works in practice. Did you get banned after changing the content or ownership? Did you have any issues with monetization, views, or recommendations? I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried this.

If you buy an good YouTube channel and change the content so your channel may not be banned but its quality can be very low and its very risky for you. So if you not change the content and not upload the quality videos related to your content your quality may still be low.

There had been cases where companies have acquired big channels and continued posting there. But I think Google has mentioned it that sale of channel is not allowed.

It can work, but changing the niche or content too much can tank the existing audience and recommendations.

I’d be more concerned about losing the old viewers and hurting monetization than an automatic ban just from changing ownership.
