I usually buy smaller channels and grow them. Larger YouTube channels tend to be ridiculously overpriced, and it’s very difficult to recoup the investment.

As long as the new videos you post are in the same niche as the previous owner, it should work. I have personally bought aged YouTube channels, but posted completely different content, didn't get as many views, and ended up getting banned
