Is 100% AI content still surviving the 2026 Google updates?

still surviving fine my end man, but i think the question is a bit off

google isnt detecting AI, its detecting thin. raw chatgpt copy paste dies cause its generic and says nothing, not because some detector flagged it as AI. same article written badly by a human dies too, nobody starts a thread about that one

whats changed is the models got good enough that a proper prompt gets you something readable first try. two years ago you needed heavy editing, nowdays barely any. i run AI content everywhere, tier pages buffers all of it, index rates same as always.. the diference is i actually give the model something to work with instead of "write 1000 words about X"

Don't copy-paste ChatGPT directly. Add a human touch to your article. Mostly important in your content: your content is always informative. The content you are writing should be relevant to your customers. Google ranks this type of content at the top.

From my experience of Seo so far raw Ai content shouldn't be used as Google will de-index and penalize your website nowadays very fast.
So in my opinion you should use some of your own wording and example so that it can be humanized which will keep you away from being penalized.
Aswell as chatgpt or any other doesn't input a new insight which triggers Google so you should edit it once before posting.

Hey BHW,

After the recent Google updates, I am seeing mixed results with AI content. It seems like pure, unedited AI content (like direct ChatGPT copy-paste) is getting de-indexed or penalized much faster now.

What is your experience right now? Are you guys still ranking with raw AI content, or has human-editing become 100% mandatory to survive in 2026? Would love to hear your thoughts!
i cannot state that all ai content is dead out of the box. while i have seen pure ai written content receive traffic before, generric copy paste content tends to have a tougher job with retaining rankings. it is the originallity of the content that plays a bigger role here than its origin.

Well the major problem here is just literally posting all your AI content without human involvement. There are frameworks for you to write perfect AI content. You are going to use AI to structure your content. You are going to use AI to write it but you need to put a lot of human effort into modification, adding some pictures, and optimizing for deep linking and all that stuff. You just literally copy your content from a channel or from your ChatGPT and go ahead and post it on your WordPress or your CMS

ya raw ai copy paste is pretty much done for me too, i still use it for first drafts but always rewrite the intro and add a stat or example thats mine. feels like googles just sniffing out generic phrasing now not the ai itself
