[JOURNEY] Building Amazon FBA Private Label Brand, $100/day → $1,000/day Profit, Started in Jan 2026

Day 55 of Daily Update of Hitting $1000 Per Day Profit Journey, 2nd August 2026

Yesterday, we sold out our highest number of units, almost 290 units in a day. That was our highest. My goal is to hit 500 units per day consistently. Yet, in profitability, we are not consistent at hitting $1,000 per day, but overall This month, probably we will hit an overall average of this.

tbh hitting 290 units a day after being out of stock is a massive win. usually going oos for that long completely kills your organic rank... did you have to spend a ton on ppc to get the momentum back or did it just pick up naturally? also curious if you ever sorted out that certification issue for product 5 or if you just abandoned it.

Interesting Journey, but I have a question. Your products are FBA, which is something I am considering. At the moment, I am selling products on Amazon FBM. Getting the Buy Butto has been an issue. I sell home decor products, and my products get lumped into a category where my price is not the lowest, so I do not get the Buy button, and cannot advertise the products. Say I have a chair listed, it is being compared price wise to inferior products, not giving us any chance to sell or even get noticed. The product is priced very fair, and not too expensive. Any suggestions?

How's the month of August been for you ?
@Dank19 Thanks for reminding me. I will share the stats for August today.

@JackTheFlipper
multiple factors impacted hitting our per day upto 290 units, and that was a peak. When we went out of stock, we massively saw a ranking impact of that, and the search volume of products also declined by almost 20 to 30%, so that also impacted. We were able to stabilize our inventory.

After that, we had to increase our PPC spend. For the August Month on average, we spend $300 per day. Our sales increased, but our revenue and profitability declined due to ad spend and multiple other factors. Competitors also started reducing their price. In short, we have to spend a lot on ads, and currently we are spending, and we are actually okay with that.

For the rest of the products we jsut quit them now we are finding new products to launch with. We didn't finalize any other product yet. We are exploring new products

@StreamNetLive my experience is only with Amazon private label, where we put inventory in FBA and we are on the buy box. The other model is the wholesale product model, which you are actually mentioning. I don't have any experience with it, you have to get the buy button from other sellers. It depends on multiple factors, and price is one of your biggest factors, so you have to offer a low price, your seller rating also impacts it, and your fulfillment type also impacts products.

If one person is doing FBA and the other is doing FBM, Amazon always prefers FBA. But I personally don't have any experience in selling in the wholesale model, so I'm probably not the right person to give advice on this one.

August Month Update on Hitting $1000 Per Day Profit Journey, 7th September 2026

Our August month was the highest month in terms of revenue. We hit $95,000 in top line, but our net profit was almost $15,000. We faced a lot of challenges. The biggest challenge was our rating was dropped to the lowest in this month, which was 3.7*. That rating star actually impacted our conversion.

Earlier, we used to have 20% to 22% conversion for the month of July and in August, due to the bad rating star, our conversion dropped to 15% to 16%. Now, due to this issue, we have to spend almost double in PPC. You can see the spend for the month of July was $4,500, and for the month of August, we spent $8,500. We spent $4,000 more, which helped to increase the revenue, but at the same time, our profit dropped almost $4,000.

The conversion is one of the biggest factors, and that also impacted our rating, our rankings, and top keywords. We have to compete with high bids but overall, still a great month.

You can also see there is a difference between gross profit and net profit. We decided to launch one more strategy: with the same product, we are going to launch another brand under the same category. Same product, but under two different brand names. When We will be able to rank the second brand on the first page if it will be giving us 15% to 20% revenue. That will be giving us an extra spot on 1st page.

We did the trademark and all that stuff. Our rating star is still just at 3.7*. We are fixing that. We have enrolled and added a new SKU using the same product, and we are adding some strategies. We also enrolled for one review service, which we don't prefer, but overall, we have good sales velocity, so we enrolled for that to get better Reviews I'll share next how it performed

That was a quick overview of the August month. I'll try to keep sharing on a weekly basis
