What’s your approach after BM gets restricted?

My first step would be to appeal the decision and understand the reason for the restriction. and transfer it to a backup account to avoid interruptions.
Sound strategy. Keeping a warm backup lined up ahead of time is real key so campaigns don't just sit dead while waiting on support.

normally, I’m doing both: submitting an appeal to put things on hold pending the outcome, while immediately setting up an alternative backup to avoid interrupting the campaign.

When a BM gets restricted, what do you usually do?
Try to appeal and wait
Or move on to another setup
Or pause everything for a while
Curious what approach works best for you.
The first thing I do before the primary Business Manager (BM) is restricted is to share all data with another BM. If the primary BM is restricted, I will appeal, and in the meantime, I can still use assets from partner BMs.

That’s definitely the safest way to handle it. Having a clean backup structure ready saves so much stress when an appeal takes days (or weeks) to get reviewed. Are you setting up fresh Business Managers from scratch for the backup, or using aged assets to keep momentum going?

If it’s a clear mistake, recovery is worth trying; otherwise, fix the root cause before starting again—repeating the same setup rarely ends well.

100% agreed. So many people just buy a new profile, keep the exact same landing page or ad copy, and wonder why it gets restricted right away again. Cleaning up the trigger assets first is non-negotiable

File an appeal and await the outcome, then investigate the cause and adjust settings and procedures.

Pretty solid advice for basic issues, but waiting around for an appeal can burn days of revenue. I usually like to spin up a clean backup asset while the appeal runs so the campaigns don't just sit dead in the water
