Is it like tiktok where every post needs to be original? or can youtube get away with some duplicate content. Im planning on testing myself but if anyone has any insights would be great. thanks.

YouTube accepts reused clips, but pure duplicates won’t grow.

Reusing parts of your content is fine. I've seen people who post several videos on a topic, and then edit and add them all as a single long video and post it again. Doing this will work and won't be an issue.

YouTube prioritizes original content. Duplicate or re-uploaded videos can get limited reach, demonetized, or flagged. You can reuse content only if you add value, like commentary, edits, or your own twist.

utube will tolerate some instances of re used content, but there must be an obvious rationale for the exisstence of the re mix version. the addition of ur voice or edits or commentary is what will make it better. essentially, do not copy re mix.
