How to monetize subreddits?

i have few subs, but other than just selling it, i wish to monetize these subs, how can one do it? is spamming casino ads the only way or are there other ways through which they can generate cash, I'm new to this and a guidance would be helpful.

If they're active subs, you can do affiliate marketing on the sidebar, pinned posts or automod top comment on specific posts. I've seen people pin their own apps or services as well

few subs means u gotta focus on building trust not spamming. offer exclusive content or early access to stuff. monetization comes after value. u got this just dont be greedy too fast

mostly random niches, reason I'm finding it difficult to monetize!
