How long do you warm up accounts before scaling

Depends on the account type and platform. For FB BMs: minimum 7 days of $5-10/day spend with healthy CPM, then scale by no more than 50% increments every 48-72h until you hit your target — too fast and you trigger anomaly review even with clean payment history. For Google Ads: 14 days minimum, smaller increment (30% per scaling), they're stricter on velocity. For TikTok ads: 5 days warm-up, can scale 100% per step — TikTok actually rewards aggressive scaling on accounts that perform. The metric to watch isn't time, it's CTR stability — if it drops by >20% after a budget bump, hold the new spend level for 72h before next scale.

I think 3 or 4 days is good for the account.

How long do you typically keep your accounts active before increasing the budget?
once the first 2 or 3 billing thresholds clear successfully, you can begin scaling. to stay safe, don't increase the budget by more than 20% to 30% per day to avoid triggering sudden checkpoint locks. If you are using premium agency accounts, they usually require little to no warm-up time, meaning you can scale them almost immediately, though a 24-hour test run is still recommended to check pixel optimization

1st ly i would allocate a minimal budget and if the campaign continues and operates well i leave it up and run it for about 5 to 7 days before allocating a higher budget to it.2nd when allocating a higher budget I would keep the increment between 10% and 15% of the existing budget allocated to the current campaign.

In my experience, you need at least 7 days to warm up the account—maintaining activity and healthy spending—and should avoid increasing the budget immediately upon seeing good results.

Days aren't the unit. Billing thresholds are. Every one you clear cleanly raises what Meta will let you spend. There's a second thing people fold into this too. Budget jumps over about 20% reset the learning phase, so slow scaling has two separate reasons behind it and folks blur them.

I think seven days is just enough time for us to gather metrics, analyze campaign performance, and scale up.

I Warmup account parallel with the scaling because mostly I used to use or write bots for Repetitive tasks.
