Hi,

I want some advice from people who have experience.

I have basic knowledge of cloaking and I want a cloaker for my ads because many of my ads have been getting suspended. I read about cloaking and considered building my own, but I have limited knowledge and time.

Would it be better to create my own cloaker, or should I use existing tools available on the market, like TrafficGuardian, JCI, TrustCloaker, or Ketrio? If you have other suggestions, I’d really appreciate them.

Thanks!

Depends on your future plans, will building your own have enough ROI for you?

its always good to have your own stuff. But if you don't have enough budget this is not the right solution.

how much $$ can you invest realistically?

That's what I'm trying to figure out . Right now I'm just comparing the ROI of building my own versus using an existing solution.

I can invest if the ROI makes sense. Right now I'm just trying to understand what works best in practice.

Honestly, building your own cloaker from scratch right now sounds like a recipe for wasted time and resources, especially with limited knowledge and a tight schedule. You're better off testing a reputable existing tool first. TrafficGuardian or JCI are solid starting points; they've been around and have a track record. See if one of them fits your specific campaign needs before even considering the complexity of building something yourself. Prove the concept with a tool, then iterate if absolutely necessary.
Yes, I agree. Building your own cloaker can be risky if you have limited knowledge and time. Google is much stricter these days, so it's usually better to use a reliable, proven solution first. You can always consider building your own setup later as you gain more experience.

Start by using the cloakers available on the market. Learn how they work, and gradually develop your own cloaker.

Building your own solution is always the better option if you have the expertise to do so, you’ll have more control over functionalities and it’ll be easier to troubleshoot.

Don't build your own solution unless you have a big team and money to spend ... lessons learned

I will advise you to continue your existing tools especially keitaro and you can include cloakshieldn cause cloakshield + keitaro will mask your ads without getting suspended.

For my gambling ads that i'm running i'm using JCI (justcloakit) i know of some people who use their own tools but in my experience it doesn't make that big of a difference.

depends on your skills and your budget.

I would try cloakers and go from there.

Also, remember that cloaker is just one part of it. You need to learn how to get ads approved in blackhat niches, how to set up the ad accounts so they don't get banned and a lot more

For Google Ads, I’d keep things simple and use standard tracking and landing page methods rather than building custom systems. The main thing is to make sure your setup follows Google’s advertising policies and doesn’t create issues with your account.

For most people it probably makes more sense to first validate the business with existing solutions. Building custom infrastructure only starts making sense when the volume is high enough that the cost of a third-party tool becomes a real bottleneck.

honestly building your own is a massive money sink because of database maintenance. keeping up with clean ip ranges and identifying ISP vs residential traffic is a full time job in itself. if you dont have a dedicated dev to constantly update the filtration lists you will get flagged anyway. better to stick with commercial tools until you are burning enough volume to justify the overhead.

Yeah @Moraina is right about the database maintenance... keeping up with residential IPs and ISP lists is a nightmare if you try to do it yourself. honestly, unless you have a dedicated dev and a big budget to burn every month just maintaining the filters, building your own is just a massive money pit. better to use something off the shelf to start with and see if you can even get your campaigns profitable first before worrying about custom setups.
