Instagram not loading anything, account issue or app glitch?

This issue could be related to the widepsread bot purge carried out by Meta a few weeks ago. You could try again after a few days, and if it stil doesn't work, you could check if you are part of the beta testing program on Google Play. Leave the program and try installing the app again.

Sounds like a rate limit problem or you have an old version of IG.

I think it's time to contact Instagram's support as I don't believe anyone here can help you with that.

This is an IP block or network routing issue to Meta servers, switch from wifi to 4G
 
I think it's an app issue. I ran into the same problem, and after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, everything went back to normal.
 
First time I have ever heard of such a problem may just be a temporary problem with the Instagram application itself. Perhaps try to switch off wifi and use mobile data to see if there is any difference. Also check Instagram from the web browser version.
 
usually it will be a problem with the server of Instagram or even the network connection rather than an account problem.try using the WiFi connection then use the mobile data or just access your account via a web browser once.in most cases it works within a few hours.
 
Web works, Lite works, main app doesn't. A restricted account shows you a banner. It doesn't just hang. Try clearing storage on the app, not just cache, then log back in. Reinstalling doesn't clear it on Android.
 
First, try checking for network connection issues; if there are none, use a different account to log in and see if the same problem occurs.

Hey there, have you tried a different device and network? If still does not fix I would let it cool off for a few days and try again. Maybe you are getting rate limited or something. Additionally you may be having country wide problems too, ISPS sometimes limit the traffic bandwith to certain apps so they comply with government directives (e.g. if there are stuff happening that politicals don'T want to be seen on social media). How about a different account like a friends account? Does it work normally?
 
seems like your account has been flagged by instagram, check if your account is still active. if it is try using a new device to login and use a different IP address. if problem still happens, take a rest period of 48-72 hrs and try again on this new device
