No worries. First go and check Google Search Console to see which pages lost traffic. Then adjust those pages with improved information, more accurate calculators, clearer examples, and other useful stuff. Just don’t publish new articles only for the sake of volume . Instead, keep your focus on making the pages you already have more helpful and relevant .
 
Advertise on BHW
Look at your top pages before and after the update. Find what changed in rankings and improve those pages instead of making changes everywhere.
 
Since the drop happened around June, first compare GSC queries/pages before vs. after the June 2026 spam update rather than rewriting everything blindly.
The June spam update ran June 24–26, 2026.

I would stop adding pages for now and checks on those pages which vanished first. compares them with those that were ranking and then addresses the weak nesses rather than rewriting all 130 pages together.
 
130 ai articles is a lot, but i wouldn't immediately rewrite everything. i'd first figure out which pages survived the update and what they have in common
 
@Seoerlicking since its a calculator site you need to look at the actual tool and not just the AI text. google has been hammering sites that wrap a simple calculator in 1500 words of AI fluff just to rank. people land on the page to calculate something and leave... they dont want to read an essay. if your calculator is buggy because gemini coded it or if the tool is buried under paragraphs of text, users will bounce instantly. make sure the calculator is right at the top of the page, works perfectly on mobile, and cut down on the filler content. sometimes less text is actually better for these types of utility niches... check your bounce rates in GA.

I'd check the pages still ranking against the ones that dropped first. See what's different, mostly the content and search intent.

Then fix the weak pages instead of changing everything at once.

Don't panic or publish more AI articles yet. I'd:

Check GSC to identify which pages lost traffic.
Compare those pages with current top-ranking results.
Improve the 20–30 most valuable pages first with original data, better calculator functionality, examples, and stronger UX.
Merge or remove thin/overlapping pages.
Improve internal linking.
Monitor rankings for a few weeks before making major changes.

i think you must publish quality of content instead of content written by AI so focus on quality over quantity and also get backlinks from quality of websites and focus on relevancy

I’d stop publishing for now and audit the pages that disappeared. Check search intent, originality, internal links and indexing first, then improve the strongest pages before adding more.
 
so i would suggest you start by improving those pages which have started falling down.for those pages which have vanished altogether i think it is better to re write them with all new information.there might be a need for some changes here as well as do not forget to pay attention to the meta title.
