shooting a test video is mostly about checking your actual workflow. you might think you want to do gaming or travel vlogs, but once you sit down to edit hours of footage into a 10 minute video, you realize how much of a grind it is. better to find out you hate the editing process on a throwaway test than after you spent weeks planning some grand channel launch. plus it helps you get used to hearing your own voice on camera... which is always weird at first. just make something short, upload it unlisted, and see how it looks.

It should be a topic you enjoy or are interested in because you need to be able to sustain it over time.

Do not begin by asking what niches makes the most money? choose a topic you will be able to discuss in over 40 videos and see whether someone is already producing videos on that topic.
 
bro just pick something and go. better to start than to wait forever. you'll figure it out along the way. go make history.
 
Instead of just a broad topic choose a specific group of listeners

There are lot of option for youtube content but it depends upon you that which one is best for you about which you have lot of knowledge and ideas. Choosing a right content for youtube channel can be challenging because there are lot of people working same content with different presenting strategy. So I suggest you to search more about it and choose that one about which there are minimum channels on youtube.
 
You can now start with kids' animated cartoon videos. They are famous and have lots of views gein.
 
hi just pick a topic you enjoy and can make videos about regularly and test a few ideas and see what gets the best response.

i would select something according to the intersection of ur interests, knowledge nd audience preferences. it is better to think smaller when choosing the area rather than overthinking it, just make some videos related to different concepts nd see how the reacttion goes.
 
Pick a topic you can actually stick with. look at what you enjoy, what people are searching for and what you can make consistently.
 
Start with something you already know or enjoy. Its much easier to stay consistent that way.
