1) Check the Json file and see if things related to 'community' have true or false then check the "WLS" score. Aim for communities above 5
If it's false. Dont buy it, it indicates Reddit already realizes the community has a problem and is not supporting it in algorithm.
If the WLS is below 5, I'd reccomend avoiding , probably not acitve.
2) Weekly visitors should be higher than subscribers. If it's not, the group is not active. If it's been like this a long time, check the things I said in #1 and likely they will parallel an indication that the subreddit has low reach/trust
3) Now, this is a debatable part of the topic but I think NFSW groups are done. They have no reach in Google as they are not typically going to be listed in search. This limits the marketing potential and even if you're marketing OnlyFans content, an SFW with reach can be much more effective if you have good creative direction.
How to value it, is simple ---
Do you know what you're planning to do with it?
If it passes these 3 factors , can you project yourself making a higher ROI than the asking price?
If so, then you should buy and get to work.
An SFW subreddit can be worth up to $1 per subscriber when it has a high WLS, lots of visitor activity, and powerful reach. But you will need to execute by blending and not just thinking you can be a 'marketing ram' and force your way through reddit's filters and ai community moderation.
