I ask this as I have been lurking on many different forums and panels which all say the same thing, that the platform is now flooded by AI content, and therefore impressions are plummeting for almost every account.

A lot of people claim the platform behaves like a search engine, but my other point is that this was true a few years ago. Right now, I struggle to think that anyone is going there for inspiration/ideas.

What are the good alternative (s)?

i believe it comes down to the niche. pinterest has become more competitive but i would not dismiss it yet. if u are looking for alternatives then try out instagram, utube Shorts, Reddit or perhhaps niche platforms where users are seeking inspiration. the best place to go depends on where ur target market hangs out.

i wouldn’t abandon pinterest entirely but i’d diversify into Instagram TikTok Reddit and niche communities depending on the audience for inspiration driven traffic the key is finding where people are still actively saving discussing and searching for ideas rather than chasing the biggest platform

AI content definitely makes the feed noisier. I’d look at platforms where your audience already spends time—TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or even Reddit communities. The better question is: where are people still actively searching for your type of content?

Reddit is a viable choice since many mods don't tolerate AI sh1t.
