Any tips on how to do this?

I guess paid tools like Gemini + Grok could work well due to their knowledgebase, but any ideas? tips?

The knowledgebase is the part I'd trust least here. Stored knowledge is a memory of the past, and market research is a question about right now, so recall and research pull in opposite directions.

Point the model at sources instead of asking it to remember. Feed it the threads, reviews and comments you collected, and make it quote the exact line behind every claim. If it can't produce the line, it recalled instead of read.

The other half is where you look. People describing a problem in their own words tell you more than people answering a question you put to them.

Best,
Floqal

If you are going for a knowledbase I would try the AI's of ahrefs or semrush mainly because they may have better knowledgebase. I am afraid the general AI may not know what to do in the future as the content they are being fed gets worse overtime.

I’d use AI more for organizing the research than doing the research itself

Give it 10 competitor pricing pages and feature lists and make it normalize everything into the same structure. That’s usually way more useful than asking it something broad like “what’s trending in this market?”

I’d use AI more as a research assistant than as the actual source of truth. It’s great for finding trends, grouping customer pain points and generating questions to investigate, but I’d still validate the interesting findings with Reddit, reviews, competitor sites, surveys, or actual customer interviews.
