Competitor is bidding on my Brand Name. Can I fight back?

Advertisers cannot use another company's trademarked name in their ad copy (ad headlines, ad descriptions).

bidding on your name is legal, but using your trademark in their ad copy isn't. report it or bid on their name too.

report trademark to Google and also run your own cheap brand campaign to take top spot.
 
yeah you can suggest a simple legit approach like this. I’d just say bid on your own brand keyword and improve ad relevance so you stay on top, reporting alone usually doesn’t solve it fast.

Bid on your own brand keywords and report trademark misuse to Google if they’re using your name in ads.
 
google won't stop them from bidding on keywords, but if they use your brand name in the ad copy, you can report for trademark. only 'dirty' way is to bid on your own name to drive up their cpc so it becomes too expensive for them to stay there.
 
Yes you can run your own brand ads and check if they are using your trademark and also report any policy issues if needed.
