Yes, YouTube SEO is still essential in 2026 for improving visibility in search and recommended videos.

I still pay attention to YouTube SEO because it helps the algorithm understand what the video is about Good titles descriptions and keywords are useful but I think strong thumbnails watch time and audience retention have a much bigger impact on long term growth
 
Being lazy is when you think SEO isn't important.
 
Yes it works,we want focus much on thumbnails and it make 30 make the caption which is highly rated related to the content
 
honestly yes I still focus on SEO while ranking my videos, the title, caption, tags , decription each of that matters a lot
 
I see SEO as the foundation, not the whole strategy. If your thumbnail, hook, and retention are strong, SEO gives your videos an extra advantage instead of carrying them on its own.

Yeah i still do basic youtube SEO. Titles, keywords and descriptions help discovery, but imo it is retention and viewer satisfaction that determines where the video will go from there
 
I still do basic YouTube SEO. A good title and description helps, but I spend more time on the thumbnail and keeping people watching.
 
I still consider YouTube SEO important mainly because it helps the right audience discover a video. Strong titles and relevant keywords can improve visibility but they cannot make up for content that viewers quickly lose interest in. In my experience valuable content and strong audience retention have a much bigger impact.

Yes I think it is definitely worth doing. but rather than spending all your tym on tags and keyword stuffing i think you should focus more on your title, thumbnail and retention.

You can still do YouTube SEO provided that it cost you nothing. Focusing on watchtime and engagement is the best for me.
 
Yes, a bit. But SEO is no longer just based on keywords and texts you put in your description or tags but in the words you mention in the video itself.

SEO still matters for youtube and especially for search related topics. I still optimize my titles, descriptions and keywords but watch time and viewer satisfaction matter more once the video getss exposure.
