Has anyone else felt that Instagram traffic /engagement has changed lately? I'm wondering what type of posts have been resonating most with you all.

Reels. Right now, Instagram is pushing Instagram reels more often since that is how meta earns income through ads. That being said, post reels since that is whats getting more exposure at this moment

RIght now nothing works better than Reels.

a mixture of reels and carousel posts is best. #1 metric for instagram is reshares and saves. make content people want to share with their friends or save for themselves. it will 100% blow up

Organic reach has definitely shifted more toward Reels and original content interaction rather than static posts.

I have been seeing something similar. Reels appear to be getting better reach lately but i would not focus only on them. Carousels can drive more saves and shares while stories are good for staying connected with your current followers. I would use a mix of formats and see which ones get the best response from your audience.

It has changed a lot since the last time I was using it, so I am a bit concerned about the engagement.

Yeah I've noticed that too, reach is a little more inconsistent, so I think we need to prioritize consistency and quality of our posts.

Regarding attracting a lot of attention, I think Reels is still the best option, because everyone wants to watch all the content in the shortest amount of time.

Yeah I’ve noticed reach feels a bit less predictable lately. Reels that are simple and easy to share seem to be doing better for me than overly polished stuff. Carousels have been surprisingly solid for engagement too.

Try posting at different times and see when your audience is most active. You may notice better reach during certain hours.

Short and Quick Reels often does good, More like which catches attention of the user within 1-2 sec of watching the reels is the best performing one.

Combine it with Carousel and Stories and it will be perfect.

My reach has certainly decreased all around unless i am using off platform driving. Honestly only short pieces of audio and text overlay reels are the only thing keeping me engaged.

I'd test a few formats for 2-3 weeks and see what your own audience responds to most. Yaa have noticed this too. reels can bring reach, but carousels and simple personal posts seem to get better engagement lately.

Posts by celebrities always get a lot of attention. For example, the actors in the recent Spider-Man movie.
