followers have become more of a vanity metric for me lately. small pages are growing faster since they know their target audience and is making content that will get engagement rather than just a scrolls through.I've seen smaller accounts outperform bigger ones simply because their audience is actually engaged. A large follower count looks nice, but it doesn't mean much if nobody's paying attention.
I believe so also especially when it comes to small accounts. hundreds of people who interacts with your page and even know you can be worth more than millions who do not have any idea about the pages .It feels like engagement and relationships matter much more than raw follower numbers now. Have you found that smaller communities with active conversations produce better business results than accounts with large audiences but very little interation?

Yes smaller more engaging communities are more valuable than just a big follower count, because you can become an authority to them on a specific niche and thus earn more when you sell them your products and/or services. It feels like engagement and relationships matter much more than raw follower numbers now.
