TikTok Ads for Local vs Global – Which Works Better?

TikTok can work for local, but it’s harder and needs strong creatives and broad targeting; it generally performs better for wider or ecom campaigns where scale and virality matter more.

From what I’ve seen TikTok kills it for broad/global stuff, local biz can work but only if creatives grab attention hard and targeting kept tight.

local works if u use "spark ads" with local influencers and before/after videos but fb is still better for tight radius targeting.

i think tiktok can work for local businesses too if the content is good and also it depends on the audience location and how the offer is presented.

yeah TikTok Ads can work well for local businesses too and also it mainly depends on the right local targeting creative and offer if you testing with a small budget first then it will be worth.

Tiktok targeting for local is pretty bad if you try to use their actual radius tools... it just kills delivery or jacks up the cpms. what works better is going relatively broad geographically, like targeting the whole metro area, but calling out the specific city or neighborhood in the first 2 seconds of the video. @GyaradosGrind is right about the ugc style. if you make it look like a local organic post talking about a "secret spot" or a crazy deal, people stop scrolling. then use a lead magnet like a voucher or a free pass to capture info fast. fb is still easier for local but tiktok can work if you don't fight the algorithm with tight radius settings.
