It is possible to earn money just creating a website?

I would like to create a profitable website but I don't know which theme or business mode to choose. There monthly subscription a good idea? If so, what could I offer that people would pay for?
What Other website ideas could generate income? let me know your idea.

To be honest, don't think that websites are still popular for today.
I think main income for today is getting good social media channels, with good engagement and earning with ads, affs and deals like that.

yeah, definitely possible. but just having a website doesn’t mean it’ll make money. i’d probably start with something simple, get some traffic first and then see what people are actually willing to pay for.

Something fun and interactive. Go have a look at reddit for a few days, and see if something doesn't spark of ideas?

Sell advertising and or merch and monthly upgrades ona viral site. As an example. i'm rebuilding my history site into a gaming and reading experiance, where you explore the village and surrounding areas, and you read scripts about life during that period, isntead of like you would on a blog. You will have limited movement.

I plan to have save game and certain upgrades only available via buymeacoffee so people have to pay a small amount to support the site and continue interacting with it.

Its meant to be an interactive interesting learning experience. Doesn't have to be the most comprehensive in the least time, or the next wikiepdia, just has to be unusual and new and different. As long as its YOUR take on reality then its bound to be different and original. Thats what you need to think of your project like.
