AI SEO shouldn’t be treated as a separate replacement for traditional SEO. I use AI SEO more as an additional layer on top of solid SEO fundamentals.
I think strong SEO is still the foundation and for many sites it's enough to earn AI Overview citations naturally. But in highly competitive niches, building topical authority, clear entity signals and well-structured content can give you an extra edge, so AI SEO feels more like an enhancement than a replacement for good SEO.
Well said. The goal here is not to optimize your website content just for AI Score, its about making your brand easier to understand and being citation by AI overviews during search.Yes
No
After a test we have found that improving content clarity, topical coverage, and supporting authority can benefit traditional search and also create stronger signals for AI-driven search. But it doesnt mean no need to work on SEO side of your site.fromm my experience i think strong seo gives you the base but improving content structure and building authority can increase the chances of getting cited by ai and i wouldn’t ignore ai seo but i will start with good seo first.
Agreed. AI can help create and optimize content, but it can’t replace genuine experience, expertise, authoritative references, and first-hand insights. SEO is always the first no doubt about it. But your site also to build visibility across AI-driven search experiences to remain competitive as the industry evolves.I’d say good SEO is still the baseline, but I wouldn’t completely ignore AI-focused optimization. For me, the useful part is making content easier to understand: clear intent, strong topical coverage, logical structure and real supporting information. If those improvements also help with AI citations, that’s a bonus. I’d rather test that on a few pages and compare the results than change the whole SEO strategy just because “AI SEO” is trending.
Glad you agree with it.Well researched content and solid SEO fundamentals are still what actually drive rankings - AI tools just help you do it faster , they don't replace the need for real quality and E-E-T-A .
So its less "AI SEO vs good SEO" and more using AI a tool within good SEO , not instead of it.
I agree that quality and relevance matter more than simply building a large number of backlinks. A few strong, niche-relevant links can be much more valuable than hundreds of low-quality links.
