Is It Normal for a New Blog to Feel Like No One Is Reading It?

I felt the same way with my first blog, like shouting into the void while the void scrolled past. What helped me was picking a loose posting rhythm I could actually stick to and dropping my links in small communities where the topic fit. Even a couple of real comments can keep your spirits up. Traffic moved slow at first, then picked up once I had a handful of posts for people to binge.

Yes, it's perfectly normal to feel like you're yelling into the void when you first start blogging, because, you probably are. Just keep churning out content, eventually, some lost souls will stumble upon your digital diary.

Honestly almost everyone goes through that phase in the beginning most blogs feel invisible for a while before momentum starts building

yah bro be assured, it often takes time to build the audience for a new blog. it's really hard to build audience at first but be patient when you can convert aud they will be so loyal with your blog if u have the good quality

Hi,
I just started blogging and it honestly feels like I am writing into an empty space right now.
I know it takes time, but it is a bit discouraging in the beginning. Did you guys go through this phase too, and how long did it take before you started seeing real engagement?
it is pretty much how most blogs starts to be honest. what happens behind closed doors when nobody may see is the silent process of gaining some traction while building up ur content library. You would get your early traffic before getting large amounts if you take note of the small details.

of course literally this is actually quite a common feeling lol. my was filled with just my talking to myself in the early days although the achievements in search console appeared every tym before the actual traffic.

Yeahh there is the empty room phase . the first thing i could takes into consideration when evaluating a blog is impressions and repeat the visitors rather than comments and traffic. sometimes a single post brings the real traffic and changes everything.

I was in the same boat just a couple of years ago, shouting into the void felt like my new hobby. What helped me was finding a few niche forums and dropping a link when it fit the convo, plus making short clips for social media. Google seems slow to notice new blogs nowadays, so getting eyes from other places first made things way less lonely. Stats started picking up once I hit about 25 posts.

normal process just remember to had no results for up to 6 to 8 months since google will be testing ur site in the sandbox. just keeps posting quality content and a few links and forget about checking search console every 5 minutes lol.

wordpress com and have a flat site structure which is to G a big signal of having a high quality site structure. This has a big seo and traffic edge compare to the "first class selfhost cms".

Yes, I think most bloggers go through this stage. It can take a few months before you see consistent traffic and engagement, so I would focus on publishing useful content regularly and improving with each post.

Yes it totally normal as the people ignore you by seeing that you are new to the market but after some months you get some traffic and growth from which people will read your blog or content.
