You can get them, however if you plan to do this on on a larger scale, you would need to get a device, and get a script that can just find and create accounts by giving it the username you want. That is one good way to do it.

How many such usernames have you collected? If you have a large number, I think you could open an agency offering this service; it would be quite effective.

It can be valuable, but rare usernames are not guaranteed to retain their value. Their value depends on uniqueness, demand, and whether the platform allows legitimate transfers.
You have not provided enough information for judging anything.
You should calculate, like how many accounts you have, their rate of selling, how much on average you make monthly from that, how much time does eat, is it ok to be a part time job or full time. And what are the future prospects of scaling it further etc etc.
