I think you could just contact the administrator or ask the group members to form a new group.
Only if the admin add you as an admin then u can remove all the admin.I found a few groups in my niche that has been inactive from a few weeks to a few years and the admins are no longer working it they setup the group so all new posts do not get posted without permission but they did not stop people from posting replies to people who have posted. I am currently replying to all the members but was wondering is there a way to take the group over from the admin ? the admin is no where to be found, doesnt answer any messages nothing.
itis not advisable that i take any steps to forcefully takeover this group. in case the admin seems to be absent then it would be best to see if there is any optiin on the platform where one can request a change in the administrator. otherwise it would be better to create my own group.I found a few groups in my niche that has been inactive from a few weeks to a few years and the admins are no longer working it they setup the group so all new posts do not get posted without permission but they did not stop people from posting replies to people who have posted. There's an official path for this - Facebook does allow members to request admin rights when a group's admin has been inactive long enough, it's not something you need to hack or work around. Check the group's Member List / About section for a "Request admin" or similar option - if the current admin(s) meet FB's inactivity threshold, it should show up there. If it's not showing, you can also report it to Facebook directly as an "abandoned group" and request review. Replying to posts in the meantime is fine and won't hurt your case.I found a few groups in my niche that has been inactive from a few weeks to a few years and the admins are no longer working it they setup the group so all new posts do not get posted without permission but they did not stop people from posting replies to people who have posted. In case the admin is totally inactive there is not much that can be done without the removal of that admin by facebook or transfer of responsibilities. The best way is to work towards being active first and then start approach them later.I found a few groups in my niche that has been inactive from a few weeks to a few years and the admins are no longer working it they setup the group so all new posts do not get posted without permission but they did not stop people from posting replies to people who have posted.
