How to find profitable keywords for Blogging?

My first step would be to target keywords such as bes review vs or discount because they have buying intention and then see the CPC for those keywords along with the monetization of the top ranking websites. Long tail keyword that I could finds from autocomplete or forums would also be considered.

Instead of getting stuck chasing the big fish keywords, I usually peek at Reddit threads and Quora answers to spot what people are actually searching for but can’t find decent info about. If you notice a bunch of affiliate links already sprinkled in there, it’s usually a goldmine worth digging into. Even a quick Google Trends check can show if something’s really hot in 2026 or just old news.
