How can I take over a inactive facebook group?

I think you could just contact the administrator or ask the group members to form a new group.

Facebook doesnt offer many options in situations like this. If the admin is inactive your best approach is to try contacting them directly. If that is not possible, you can report the group as abandoned and see if Facebook reviews the case.

Only if the admin add you as an admin then u can remove all the admin.
 
can't bro. Only admin of groups give you rights to take over them. If you can't contact to him, it's impossible.
 
As far as I know, there’s no official way to take over a Facebook group if the admin is inactive but still owns it. You could try reporting the issue to Meta, but in most cases it’s easier to build your own group and invite interested members over.
 
Facebook doesn’t make it easy anymore If the admin inactive your best bet is to contact them directly or report the group as abandoned
 
Sadly, I'm afraid there is no legal way to do so. Only administrators can transfer administrative rights for a Facebook Group. If the Group is no longer active and the administrator is no longer available, the only option is to create a new one.
 
It’s virtually impossible; however, if you’re truly committed, you could create a new group with similar content, invite members from the old group to join the new one, and eventually, your group will start getting recommended.

itis not advisable that i take any steps to forcefully takeover this group. in case the admin seems to be absent then it would be best to see if there is any optiin on the platform where one can request a change in the administrator. otherwise it would be better to create my own group.

In case the admin is totally inactive there is not much that can be done without the removal of that admin by facebook or transfer of responsibilities. The best way is to work towards being active first and then start approach them later.
 
If the admin is completely inactive, I don't think you can simply take over the group. You could report the situation to Facebook or wait for the admin to return and ask for moderator access.

uh will not be able to takeover an inactive community in most cases unless there is an ownership transfer facility on the plattform. i would continue with my contributions nd report about the inactive admin to the support team.
 
The only way to get an inactive facebook group is to have the administrator give you administration rights.
 
Have you tried contacting that administrator directly to get permission? By DM or calling, instead of waiting for a response in the group.
 
If you mean Facebook Groups: no, you generally can't take over an abandoned group yourself. Only an existing admin can give you admin rights.
