hi everyone,

can somebody explain how this trick works? how can such a highly competitive casino keyword rank so easily on amazon aws?

https://ncc-website-2.s3.amazonaws.com/news/video/150-tl-deneme-bonusu-veren-siteler-fqhyw.html

i checked the html file, and it contains nothing except spam content. i tried creating my own aws s3 bucket and copied similar content, but my page doesn't even get indexed.

can anyone explain how this works? is there a specific seo technique or aws configuration that allows these pages to rank?

It's because the bucket in question is owned by the Canadian National Capital Commission, and they've used it to store a load of official PDFs. Instead of having url aliases set up for the bucket, for some reason they've chosen to link directly to documents using the bucket subdomain url. This obviously has the side effect of 'powering up' the subdomain. Look at the backlinks pointing to it. And now a black hat outfit has gotten access to this bucket somehow and is using it's authority to rank spam.

Is it same like before in past we use to get juice from blogspot.com, weebly.com sub domains ?

Similar, though I've never come across a governmental body that stores it's documents on a blogspot or weebly account.

So did Canadian National Capital Commission delete their bucket in Amazon AWS and did that guy open a bucket with the same URL slug? Do you know a method to find abandoned, deleted buckets with authority?

What you've tried to build is called a Parasite web property. Used to work maybe 6-7 years ago, and now you have to be very lucky, skilled, both or outright doing mass promotion through an easy niche. Hit and miss technique from my perspective.

Taking advantage of the authority from an already published file storage solution like S3, there are bucket scanners or other illegal hacking methods that could help a blackhat threat actor to gain access, though that could/should be prosecutable by law and losses incurred from a brand's bottom-line revenue in missed or otherwise unrealized gains and expected diminishment in return. Could be worth the while although not advisable, and definitely not something that BHW would like to be associated with.

It is actually more to do with the backlink history rather than AWS, copying the HTML will not transfer the authority. parasite SEO may be an option, but these systems are inconsistent nd using someone else’s bucket is not a smart move.

actually, tbh, the backlink history works even better than aws does. there will be no transferring of the authority if you simply copy the HTML file. To start off with, you should look through the referring domains and indexed pages. however, it doesn’t mean that Google will rank this content as it remains in your s3 in the form of spam files. parasite SEO can have different result nowaday nd using other people’s bucket is not my preferred way of doing this.
