What is this aws trick for ranking casino keywords?

can somebody explain how this trick works? how can such a highly competitive casino keyword rank so easily on amazon aws?

i checked the html file, and it contains nothing except spam content. i tried creating my own aws s3 bucket and copied similar content, but my page doesn't even get indexed.

can anyone explain how this works? is there a specific seo technique or aws configuration that allows these pages to rank?

It's because the bucket in question is owned by the Canadian National Capital Commission, and they've used it to store a load of official PDFs. Instead of having url aliases set up for the bucket, for some reason they've chosen to link directly to documents using the bucket subdomain url. This obviously has the side effect of 'powering up' the subdomain. Look at the backlinks pointing to it. And now a black hat outfit has gotten access to this bucket somehow and is using it's authority to rank spam.
