Would You Still Invest in PBNs in 2026?

I own 450+ PBNs across multiple niches and run my own SEO agency.

Building links has never really been the challenge for me, & neither has growing organic traffic for client websites. But lately, I've been questioning my own strategy

Instead of expanding my PBN network, would it make more sense to invest that time into growing real organic traffic on the sites I already own and turn them into authority websites?

If you had to choose, would you rather own hundreds of PBNs or a smaller portfolio of websites with genuine traffic and brand value?

I'd genuinely love to hear what experienced SEOs think. Has anyone here made that shift?

really depends on what makes you more money, the value of PBN's will go down as google will sooner or later catch on to them. So, a portfolio of genuine websites that are branded and makes you money will be better in the long run.

I will start diversify PBNS is still strong and if are done by someone who know how to manage can pass a lot of link juice but try to diversify you never know if the google become more effective as catching these you want to have other ways to make money

Hi, I'd choose fewer authority sites with real audiences. Strong brands, diversified traffic and long term value usually outperform maintaining hundreds of PBNs as algorithms evolve.

I'd rather own a smaller portfolio of real websites with genuine traffic than hundreds of PBNs. PBNs still have their place, but authority sites provide much better long term value.
