Is Reels the Only Way to Grow Now?

Obviously reels are the better way for growth because audience love to watch instead to read thats why posts get less engagement and views as compared to the reels. In rare cases some posts get a very good views but it not happens everytime people love to scroll reels where they just watch and entertained. That's why reels get better enggagement and reach.

Reels definitely help with reach, but I still see carousels doing well if they're actually useful.

Reels get pushed now more agressively so there is the bigger growth . ALso peoples don't have attention to watch to long form videos so here we are

Reels definitely help with reach right now, but they’re not the only way carousels still work well for saves and engagement if the content is solid. Consistency matters more than chasing every trend, and longer captions can still perform if they actually add value.

Lately I’ve noticed that normal posts don’t seem to get much reach unless the page already has strong authority. I might be wrong, but it feels like everything is pushed toward Reels now.
Is anyone here still growing pages using mostly carousels or regular posts?
Also curious — does consistency still matter more than chasing trends?
And what about longer captions/content… are they still working for anyone?
Would like to hear real experiences from people actively testing things right now.
i believe that the platforms have moved more towards creatting engagement content nd not necesarily towards a particular form of content. while reels may be quick in terms of discovering things, other types such as carousels nd long form content may also work as long as they address an issue or make ppl stop to read the conttent.

For me, carousels are still good because they bring more engagement. Reels may get views, but not always loyal followers.
