One thing that rarely gets mentioned is content retirement because removing or archiving posts that attract the wrong audience can sometimes strengthen the overall profile more than publishing another new post.
It is still possible to achieve organic growth through Instagram although it requires taking a different approach. It is no longer just about posting something daily but about knowing what will make users pause, bookmark and share your posts. New accounts that focus solely on a particular niche are given much better algorithmics signals. I found that experimenting with different hooks and layouts is now more important than trying to keep up with the trends.
