What's the biggest bottleneck in your link building process?

Outreach is easy. Filtering quality and relevance is where most of my time disappears.
Finding good prospects isn't really my bottleneck anymore.
For me it's outreach and getting replies. You can build a nice list of relevant sites pretty quickly these days, but turning that list into actual links is where most of the time goes.
What I faced a lot is that a lot of webmasters don't reply, if they do, some ask for prices that seem unfair, and others just disappear after the first email. That's the part that slows everything down for me.

In my experience, typical open and response rates usually hover right around 5 to 10%.
Yah, same. Prospecting and vetting sites at scale is an absolute time sink, too.

I think you should use automated filtering tools to find the right audience and send concise, highly personalized emails to maximize your response rate.

Same here. The biggest bottleneck is filtering. Exporting thousands of domains from Ahrefs or Semrush is easy, the real challenge is manually validating quality, topical relevance, traffic, spam signals, and indexing. That review process takes far more time than the actual outreach or link placement.
