I think if the video is just for commemorative purposes, then any number of clips will do.
But if you're a content creator and making money from short videos, you can cut out the best parts and post them in 2-3 separate videos so viewers don't get bored.

I don’t think there’s a fixed number. I’ve seen accounts post 10+ reels a day and do fine. The bigger issue seems to be content quality and spammy behavior, not the exact amount you post.

Hi! I think 4–5 reels would be enough. The key is to publish them evenly throughout the day so the algorithm doesn’t get “confused” or lose consistency in distribution.

Keep it to 1 or 2 daily max. If you post more than that, you risk overwhelming your followers feeds, which causes them to unfollow you or scroll past your content.

There is no limit, i max out trial reels every day and only this is giving me extra 1-2 million views a day, instagram is really extremely dumb at recognising reused content can grow any account from 0 -100k follower within a month with posting same video over and over again 24/7 as trial reels, on main feed i post 1-10na day
There isn't a fixed limit.
For most accounts, 1–3 quality Reels per day is a good balance. Some larger accounts post more without issues, but consistency and content quality matter far more than volume. Avoid spammy or repetitive posting.

i have obsserved many pages publish a large number of reels every day without any issues, however, these pages always have good engagement signals from their audience nd also high quality content. Just bcuz of posting a large number of reels does not mean u will have some performance issue. rather, posting similar types or non-performing content can affect ur perfformance.
It depends upon you that how much time you can spend to create reels and edit them. If you maintain the best quality this will take a much time. In my opinion there almost 3 are the better option to post daily. You can easily create 3 reels in a day and edit them perfectly and can save your time for your other work. That's enough to psot 3 reels in a day stay consistent and provide the best quality reels to audience.
