If you had to start Black Hat SEO again what would you Learn first?

Hi everyone,

I'm just getting started with black hat SEO and wanted to learn from those with real experience. If you were advising a beginner today, which strategy would you suggest learning first, and what common mistakes should they avoid?
 
Advertise on BHW
I will not learn it. It does not has much scope.

I will prefer to learn promoting my websites through options other than Google. You can get more traffic with less efforts that way.
 
if i were starting today id spend more time testing on small projects instead of following every guide you will learn much faster from your own results than from theories.
 
Traffic manipulations like CTR, social boosts, pogo sticking and similar. This tactics are eating easy niches alive
 
Learn technical SEO and safe link building first. Avoid shortcuts, spam, and poor risk management they usually do more harm than good.

I'd say start with testing and learning how different link types behave instead of copying every method you see. Patience and testing make a bigger difference than chasing shortcuts.

If I were starting today, I would spend time learning the SEO fundamentals first, including keyword research, technical SEO, on page optimization, and content creation. Many beginners make the mistake of looking for quick wins without understanding the basics, which often results in penalties or rankings that do not last.

Now that i was looking back at the process of creating this website i would try to learn more about the way search engines rate websites nd the relationsships between SEO aspects. Most ppl tend to look for a technique first before they understand the basic concept, wiithout that they can not understand if something works or not. testing is only one side of the process the other is learning y it worked.
 
I’d start by getting a handle on technical SEO, doing keyword research, and understanding basic link building first, before jumping into advanced maneuvers. The main blunders I see are this, chasing shortcuts, leaning on low-quality backlinks, and then overlooking the strength of the content plus the actual search intent, not just the words.
 
I will like to avoid this things shortcuts, spamming because of the harm they will do. Gradual linking building will surely help
 
Start with understanding link building & indexing because that's what actually moves rankings & avoid overdoing spam or footprints since that's what gets sites penalized fast
 
First off, master basic White Hat SEO and technical search fundamentals. You can't break the algorithm rules effectively if you don't even understand how Google indexes and ranks normal sites.

Firstly , i would learn about the behaviour of SERP for various modificaitions rather than concentrating on some tactics that are currently very popular. The most important thing in SEO is the knowledge of testing and meaisuring and the ability to adapt as the tactics that work now can lose their efficiency soon. It is better to understand the basics thoroughly and try them first on smaller projects.
 
If you're just starting, I'd focus on understanding how search engines work and learn solid SEO fundamentals before experimenting with risky tactics. The biggest mistake beginners make is chasing shortcuts instead of testing carefully and thinking about long-term sustainability.

I would start with studying the factors that influence rankings by search engines and experimenting with various technique. people make one of the most common mistake when they use technique without understanding why some work nd others do not.
 
I would begin with learning the basics of technical SEO, indexing, and keyword research rather than looking for any quick fixes. The biggest mistake made by newcomers is implementing any strategies without knowing what works and how it works.
