Safest way to use Instagram after travelling to another country? Already getting recent restrictions.

I’ve got a question for those who’ve dealt with Instagram’s recent restrictions.

Over the past month, my account has been getting random restrictions even though I’ve significantly reduced my activity. From what I’ve seen, a lot of people seem to be experiencing similar issues recently.

A few details about my setup:

• Very old Instagram account.
• Only one account for business use.
• I don’t use any automation, bots, scripts, proxies or VPNs.
• Everything is done manually from a single iPhone.
• The account is only logged into one device.

I’m travelling internationally in a few days, so my location will suddenly change from India to Austria.

I’m wondering whether Instagram could interpret a sudden country change as suspicious activity, especially since my account has already been getting restricted recently.

For those who’ve travelled while managing Instagram accounts:

• Is there anything I should avoid doing immediately after arriving?
• Should I keep activity very low for the first few days?
• Is it better to use mobile data or hotel Wi-Fi, or does it not matter?

I’ve traveled with business accounts before, and a country change by itself hasn’t been a major issue. What I avoid is making multiple changes at once, like updating profile details or increasing activity immediately after arriving. Keeping everything else consistent has worked well for me.

Location changes usually aren’t a big issue use the account normally after the move and avoid unusual activity.

Just don't try to change posts or other accounts details just use it normally to check it when location changed otherwise if you change like phone number and other things will ask for verification

Before departure: Set up two-factor authentication and turn off precise location.
After arrival: Stay silent for 1-2 days, prioritize using a local SIM card.
Daily routine: Interact at low frequency, do not use a VPN, keep devices consistent.

It will not affect your account. Do you think nobody travels anymore? Instagram can also see your hardware id which will stay the same

I would avoid changing password or account details after reaching a new country. Too many changes together may look unusual.
