They can copy your ad. Facebook usually won't block it automatically unless there's a valid copyright complaint.

A lot of advertisers end up cloning creatives that perform well.

That's the Facebook market. You need to get used to it. If you want to pursue copyright issues, you need to learn about RM.

They can't directly steal your Meta ads or access your ad account, but they can definitely copy what they see. Competitors often monitor ad creatives, headlines, landing pages, and offers through the Meta Ad Library and create similar campaigns. The best defense is to keep testing new creatives, build a strong brand, and focus on offers and customer experience that are harder to copy.

Yes, he can upload it, and Facebook may not automatically catch it straight away. If the video is yours, keep the original files and use Meta's copyright reporting tools if he copies it.

Anyone can copy an ad, but copying the creative doesn't guarantee the same results.
Strong branding, a better offer, landing page, and overall funnel usually make the biggest difference. If it's your original content, keep the source files so you can report unauthorized copies if needed.
 
Just to answer the question, yeah he can. Sadly I don't think FB automatically detects or blocks every copied video at the moment it's uploaded or used in an ad, it's just not as sophisticated as YT in that regard which can even detect privated uploads if it's copyrighted content.
You can report it or submit a copyright claim and just wait it out once it goes through. Your also gonna wanna keep a record of the original files and log when you created published them just to help establish ownership that much easier.

yes, competitors can easily download your ad creatives via meta Ad Library or spy tools. Fb won't automatically flag copied videos unless you registered the original content with meta Rights Manager; otherwise, you'll need to manually file a DMCA copyright takedown report to get their ads removed
 
actually, it's very hard to prevent this copy action. They can easy download your video and edit, make it as theirs.
you should insert the watermark or ownership information like hotline, logo.

Copying ads is common, especially effective ads. You need to invest in your video or ad content in a way that no one can imitate.

They can take your ad content, make slight modifications, and find ways to bypass Meta's systems.

Yes, they can copy the video, and Meta may not detect or remove it automatically. Since active ads are visible through the Meta Ad Library, competitors can download them, recreate them or make minor edits before launching their own version.

However, copying the creative does not mean they can copy the result. Performance also depends on the offer, landing page, audience data, pixel history, account trust and the rest of the funnel.

Keep the original project files, publication dates and invoices from editors as proof of ownership. Add branding naturally inside the video, not just as a removable corner watermark. If someone uses your original material, collect screenshots and ad links, then submit an intellectual-property report to Meta.
 
It is very difficult to wait for Meta to issue copyright strikes against the images and videos currently running as ads; instead, try to find a way to conceal him as discreetly as possible
