I’ve got a question for those who’ve dealt with Instagram’s recent restrictions.
Over the past month, my account has been getting random restrictions even though I’ve significantly reduced my activity. From what I’ve seen, a lot of people seem to be experiencing similar issues recently.
A few details about my setup:
I’m wondering whether Instagram could interpret a sudden country change as suspicious activity, especially since my account has already been getting restricted recently.
For those who’ve travelled while managing Instagram accounts:
Over the past month, my account has been getting random restrictions even though I’ve significantly reduced my activity. From what I’ve seen, a lot of people seem to be experiencing similar issues recently.
A few details about my setup:
- Very old Instagram account.
- Only one account for business use.
- I don’t use any automation, bots, scripts, proxies or VPNs.
- Everything is done manually from a single iPhone.
- The account is only logged into one device.
I’m wondering whether Instagram could interpret a sudden country change as suspicious activity, especially since my account has already been getting restricted recently.
For those who’ve travelled while managing Instagram accounts:
- Is there anything I should avoid doing immediately after arriving?
- Should I keep activity very low for the first few days?
- Is it better to use mobile data or hotel Wi-Fi, or does it not matter?
- Have any of you experienced restrictions simply because your country changed?
