Yeah Kinsta is decent but you pay a massive premium just for them to manage GCP for you... if you have more than a couple client sites the bill gets stupid fast. @Nexora550 has the right idea with the VPS route. Hetzner or Vultr with RunCloud is way more stable than any shared hosting. Just make sure you actually set up external backups because if a node goes down, you are on your own. And definitely keep email separate, use MXroute or Google Workspace, saves so many headaches when a server IP gets blacklisted.

Consistent uptime usually comes from a reliable provider with good infrastructure rather than the cheapest plan.

honestly the uptime numbers everyone throws around dont mean much unless you monitor it yourself. every host claims 99.9 on their status page but their status page is the last thing to update lol. throw uptimerobot or betterstack on your sites and youll actually know when something drops instead of finding out from a client.

for the middle ground between paying kinsta prices and running your own vps... cloudways is worth a look. its basically a managed layer over vultr/do/linode so you get most of the vps stability without touching a terminal, and way cheaper per site once you have a few. ive had one stack running like 8 months with no real downtime.

that said the vps + runcloud advice above is solid if you dont mind being your own sysadmin. just dont skip the offsite backups, learned that the hard way when a node died on me once. and yeah keep email off your webhost no matter what you pick, thats the real headache saver.
