Myth Buster

Ever since the AI revolution began, there’s been non-stop buzz about "the new SEO" and whether traditional SEO is dying.

I’m frequently asked: Is traditional SEO still relevant in the AI search era?

Here’s the reality based on my findings: I’ve rarely seen a strategy work for traditional SEO that didn't also work for AI Search.

So, don't panic.

Focus on what has always mattered:

Stick to the fundamentals.

Consistently deliver high-quality content on your and your clients' websites.

Focus on quality, and the results will speak for themselves.

Great, But what's your opinions on zero click search. It's hurting SEO's everyday. and now, when the cost and effort of creating content at scale is much lower, we are already noticing AI Slop content everywhere. and that content is not useful in any manner. But what it does is that user became too dependent on AI. SO, I think Today's a better strategy to tackle all this is crucial for campaign sucesss

If traditional SEO and AI Search reward the same fundamentals, what specific optimizations have you found that improve AI visibility without necessarily improving traditional rankings?

Traditional SEO still provides the foundation: crawlable pages, clear structure, strong topical coverage, reputable mentions, and content people trust. AI visibility adds another layer, but, kind of, the same pages that explain concepts clearly and cite useful evidence are often easier for answer engines to surface. I'd track citations and referral quality alongside rankings rather than treating AI search as a completely separate discipline.
