Is anyone getting good reach but less followers on Instagram ?

I have observed this trend too, especially when a reel is promoted far away from its usual target audience on the account. Even though the metrics might seem impressive, the follow ratio lowers bcz of users enjoy the single Reel without seeing any reason to view the account. i becames more interested in tracking the number of profile visits and follows per visit rather than focusing only on reach for the Reel.
 
the fix is making the content more profile-driven (clear niche + stronger CTA like “follow for part x”), not just entertaining.
 
I have noticed something similar lately Views are still coming but converting viewers into followers seems harder than it used to be

yes i have faced same thing. it happens due to sharing the content to friends but they do not follow us.
