I have two old ad accounts created around the same time, and I launched the exact same ad on both on the same day. Everything is identical, including the image, headline, caption, budget, targeting, and landing page. However, one ad was approved while the other was rejected. Has anyone experienced this before? What could be the reason behind this?

yeah facebook approval can be totally inconsistent even when the ad setup is identical, usually due to account-level history, landing page signals, or review flags triggered differently. double check the rejected one’s ad text/image for any hidden policy triggers and test the landing page from incognito.

Yeah it happend with me too, each ad account gets reviewed a bit diffrent so same ad can get approved on one and rejected on another.

this happens because Meta uses different AI servers and compliance bots to review ads, which can lead to inconsistent evaluation outcomes. differences in account history, fan page quality scores, or IP/domain reputation between the two accounts can also trigger a rejection on one while the other passes

Fb ad veterans confirm that this is very common due to Fb automated review system assigning ads to different inspection bots with varying sensitivity levels, combined with minor differences in account trust history, so simply appealing manually or slightly tweaking the creative copy will typically resolve the rejection.

This happens much more often than many people realize. Facebook doesn't always give the same approval results, even when two ads have completely identical setups. Factors such as account history, landing page quality, or how the system automatically assesses risk can all influence the approval decision.

Yeah this happens a lot. Ad approval isn’t only based on the creative itself, the account history and trust signals can affect it too.
One account might have cleaner history, different review signals, or just got a different automated check. I usually duplicate and appeal/review instead of assuming the ad is the problem.

This is normal. Your ad accounts have different quality histories. Even if two accounts were created around the same time, factors such as the types of ads previously run, whether any ads were rejected, whether the same BM was used, and whether the login IP locations were consistent, among many other variables, can all lead to this kind of situation.

One thing I've noticed is that Page Quality can matter too. I've had ads rejected on one account and approved on another, even with identical setups, because the pages behind them had different engagement and history. If the ad itself looks compliant, a manual review is usually worth trying before making changes.

To resolve this, simply request a manual review on the rejected ad - since the exact same creative was approved on another account, human reviewers will usually approve it upon appeal.

I used to be super confused by this too. Turns out its mostly Facebook's AI auto-review playing tricks. Plus, the trust score of your personal account, BM or page definitely affects the outcome as well

this is fairly typical with ad networks. the revieew process does not just take into consideration the ad that uh r putting up but it also takes into account the history of ur account the trustworthiness of ur account nd how things have been up until now. even two accounts that share the same campaign can receive different decisions since the back end evalluation process is unique for every account.

Platforms do not just analyze the creative part but also consider account history, trust indicators, activity, payment history, and risk scoring. Two exactly same ads might have two entirely different decisions because of different internal reputation or trigger for the ads in question.
The first things I would check are the reason of rejection, landing page analysis, and account quality score. Sometimes, an appeal is enough to approve the second ad.
