Reddit Not sure about Continuing Partnership with Google Ai

I feel like this is a 'sell the news' headline or something

No way Reddit's about to end their partnership with Google after they've probably increased the traffic of reddit so much, by featuring reddit posts in search for many competitive kewyords & even more long tail phrases

Stock prices dropped nearly 10% on the news but Im wondering what this really means.

I tink something bbigger would have to come to replace this or something......

It's possible that a third party stepped in, and Reddit found a partnership with them to be more beneficial than continuing to work with Google.

lol reddit ending the google deal is like mcdonalds ending their potato partnership. ain't happening. someone just wanted cheaper shares.

yeah, I guess it would be the other way around
google kicking reddit's ass
it will eventually happen, when their AI drains enough human information there

business insider lost 85% of google traffic to AI overviews lmao. reddit sees that and thinks "nah we're good on that $60m deal."
google's literally eating publishers alive and reddit doesn't wanna be next on the menu. 8% drop is nothing they're playing chess while wall street plays checkers.

The stock drop feels more like uncertainty than a clear signal reddit still benefits heavily from search traffic so any major change would need a strong replacement.

Reddits value comes from its community and unique discussions, not only from one traffic source the bigger question is how they handle future changes in search.

The Google/Reddit relationship is too valuable for both sides to disappear overnight. Reddit gets exposure and traffic, while Google gets access to one of the largest sources of fresh user-generated content on the web.

My guess is this is more about leverage and negotiating future terms than an actual split. Markets often react to uncertainty first and details later. Unless Reddit has a credible alternative that can replace that visibility, I'd expect changes to the partnership rather than a complete end to it.
