Still leaning more toward quality and relevance. A few strong, niche related links seem to hold better over time. That said, a natural mix usually looks safer than focusing on just one approach.

It’s definitely more about quality now, but quantity still plays a role if it’s natural.
A few strong, relevant links can move the needle more than dozens of weak ones, but having some volume helps build a natural profile. Pure quality with no link velocity can look just as unnatural as spam.
So it’s less “quantity vs quality” and more about balance and relevance.

Still think relevance and quality win long term. Some messy profiles may rank for now, but cleaner links usually feels more stable. A few strong links can do more than a lot of weak ones.

Clean is kinda overrated if by clean you mean “only pretty DR sites with perfect traffic graphs”. @karenparkerr a lot of those messy profiles ranking have 2-3 links doing the real work and the rest is just noise, or they’ve got old 301s/PBN stuff you won’t fully see in Ahrefs. What’s working is relevance + anchors that don’t scream SEO, then enough random natural looking junk around it so the profile doesn’t look hand built. Pure clean profiles can look fake too, especially in ugly niches.
