Can Monero replace Bitcoin in long term?

Bitcoin and monero are different crypto currencies with identity of cryptocurrency bitcoin is stable coin different from others such as nft, meme with different currency spoof generate to serve as hot coin.

well, without bitcoin the focus to break the privacy in Monero would be even higher that what it is today. So i would say that having Bitcoin around, helps in the endevour of keeping Monero as a REAL privacy coin.

I am disturbed there aren't more privacy oriented coins trying to compete with XMR.

Monero is closer to Bitcoin’s original vision, with stronger privacy and fungibility. However, Bitcoin’s network effect and adoption make it hard to replace. I see Monero as a strong privacy-focused alternative rather than a Bitcoin killer.

I highly doubt it; it would take a very long time, and Bitcoin would have to reach its limit where no more can be created.
Yes, there's no chance that monero will replace Bitcoin. The Montero project doesn't have enough backup to do it.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is irreplaceable. At the moment, I don't see any cryptocurrency with the potential to replace BTC in the future.

Monero offers much stronger privacy than Bitcoin, but Bitcoin's adoption and network effects make it difficult to replace. I see Monero as the leading privacy coin rather than a direct Bitcoin replacement.

BTC will always be king in the crypto space IMO but XMR is playing in a completely different ball game it's the #1 privacy coin and it will remain that way for a long long time. :)

In my opinion, Monero has the potential to replace Bitcoin in the long term.

Bitcoin is no longer truly anonymous and is subject to strict regulations.

Monero and Zcash are the only major cryptocurrencies that are currently still truly anonymous and can practically never be regulated.

Essentially, Monero is today what Bitcoin was in the 2010s.

What do you think about it?
I think Monero has some really strong privacy features, but replacing Bitcoin is a huge challenge because Bitcoin has the biggest network liquidity and institutional adoption.
where privacy is definitely Moneros biggest strength on same time same feature has also led to more exchange delistings and regulatory pressure in many places. sadly
My view is that btc and xmr solve different problems so they are more likely to coexist than one completely replacing the other.

I don't believe that's likely. I think the chances of it becoming a reality are quite low.

@homura mentioned the delistings and yeah that definitely hurts exchange liquidity but imo it also keeps xmr clean from institutional manipulation. it won't ever replace btc as digital gold because normies and wall street want regulated stuff they can buy on coinbase. but for actual utility... buying hosting, domains, and tools, xmr is already the standard. btc is too hot to use for anything greyhat nowadays. also zcash is kinda useless since privacy isn't default there.
