Coffee is bitter but addictive. You can add sugar - that's another addictive substance. You won't like it but get comfortable and yearn for it.
Fruits are the opposite of it. They aren't addictive but you'll love them for taste and flavour.

First sip is always betrayal lol. Most people learn to love the caffeine before the taste. after that the brain starts calling burnt bean water comfort.

Not all coffee is super bitter, there are actually different types out there. Robusta is definitely on the bitter side, while Arabica is more acidic. Plus, coffee can actually pick up flavors from plants grown next to it. Take Bali Arabica, for example it's often planted right alongside citrus trees, so when you brew it with a V60, it gives you a super clean cup with strong citrus notes.
On top of that, if the beans are honey-processed and medium-roasted, then brewed V60 over ice, there’s almost zero bitterness, just a subtle sweetness from the way the beans were processed.
