Some mistakes, I wish, I knew before posting my blog.

Don't chase quick money. Focus on writing helpful content consistently, learn basic SEO, and be patient. Consistency beats perfection in blogging.

The additional error to commit would be not using the initial blog as a feedback system. many beginners post and do not bother themselves with finding out how many impressions certain pages get, from which pages visitors exit, and on which topics they can gain tracction easily .

Don’t rush to build backlinks at first. Focus on useful original content, it’s the foundation of a good blog.

the first lesson that i have learned is that uhh should not try everything that has been suggested for impproving SEO. while there are some things that work great at the very beginning of the process it would be easier to build quality content nd update it. besides never neglect the internal linkking at the early stage of blogging.

One of the biggest mistakes is chasing too many topics instead of building authority in one niche. I'd also avoid publishing thin content, ignoring internal linking, and expecting results too quickly. Focus on creating genuinely helpful content and stay consistent, traffic usually takes time to build.

Many beginners ignore SEO basics like internal linking, keyword research, and updating old posts. These small things can make a big difference.

first of all what i would like to know from my experience is that blogging does not involve just writiing posts. content matters but understandiing the search intent nd promotion along with data analysis r equally useful. do not be disappointed if u do not have much traffic initially. Successfful blogs usually need some time to take off. Try to improve urself with each new post.

The first and perhaps the most common mistake that i have seen people doing in the early stages is to treat it as an inidividual assignment and not as an entire system. The writing may be important, but without knowing who the target audience is, what their intentions are, how to structure the website, and how to improve with data, it all becomes guess work.

i would spend more time on keyword research before I start writing the article.if you write some really great content but there not many searches for the topic then not many people will find it.

I learned that overthinking and trying to make everything perfect can slow you down. Focus on useful content, realistic keywords, and natural backlinks ins
Been there, done that with overthinking my first site and waiting for that ‘perfect’ launch, only to realize Google doesn’t care if your logo is pixel perfect. If you’re picking keywords, Google Trends from 2023 onward really gives a better picture these days, and a quick batch of easy-win backlinks to info content sometimes gets pages indexed faster. Using natural anchor text like normal sentences looks a lot less sketchy to search engines.

tead of chasing quick SEO tricks.

one big mistake i made was trying to focus on too many things at once. i'd probably just focus on learning one traffic source properly first

Biggest mistake for me was focusing too much on publishing and not enough on understanding search intent. Also, don’t expect traffic quickly consistency, updating old posts, and learning from Search Console made a much bigger difference over time.

SEO and organic traffic need time; don't expect to kick off immediately.

Be as honest and real as you can, because fake and bulshit these days can be smelled from miles...

What I have noticed that most newbies do is concentrating more on publication than the audience before starting to write a lot one should do some research about topics and search intents as well as learn some basics of seo

Focus on keyword research first, great content means little if nobody searches for it.

avoid writing on too many unrelated topics and expecting traffic right away. focus on one audience, make every post genuinely useful, and learn basic seo without stuffing keywords everywhere—it takes time, so stay consistent.

Focus on one niche, learn keyword research, create genuinely useful content, and continue modifying your older posts as you learn-don't ignore them, they are a good asset.........................

i spent too much time trying to make my first site perfect before putting it live and later found out google really dont care much about having a perfect logo or design.what matters more is picking topics people are actually searching for and checking recent trends can help with that.i also found that useful information pages can sometimes get picked up quicker when they earn a few relevant links and the links fit naturally within the content rather than looking forced.
